Job Description
Join BLTs team of dedicated professionals as a residentialHVAC Technician. This position performs various hands-on maintenance duties necessary to maintain and enhance the value of our luxury apartment community located in Jersey City NJ.

Duties & Responsibilities of theHVAC Technician:
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems in apartments and common areas
- Diagnose and repair HVAC system issues promptly and efficiently
- Performs preventive maintenance and regular community inspections as requested by the Maintenance Manager
- Recommends the repair or replacement of any interior and exterior areas
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed
- Understands and complies with Fair Housing laws and standards
Requirements of the Position of HVAC Technician:
- Must have1 year ofHVAC experience
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred trade and/or technical school training a plus
- Fire Safety Manager Certification required or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Computer knowledge with the ability to generate work orders using a property management software system
- Must be able to lift and work with heavy equipment
- EPA CPO HVAC and CFC certifications are a plus
- Eveningand weekend work may be required
