Factory ZERO is our first all-electric automotive assembly plant and the blueprint of General Motors electric future! We have a corporate vision of Zero crashes Zero emissions Zero congestion. Our most novel products like the Hummer EV and Silverado EV will be assembled right in this facility. This requires us to employ the most upbeat capable and innovative talent to ensure we meet the challenges of developing the new manufacturing processes required to assemble these amazing products! The Tech Shift Lead has responsibility for a large group of employees including first- and second-line supervisors engaged in machine and plant maintenance activities in a department group of departments shift or plant operations. Work involves a considerable amount of initiative in decision making and is accompanied by a high level of independent judgment.
Company Vehicle: Upon successful completion of a motor vehicle report review you will be eligible to participate in a company vehicle evaluation program through which you will be assigned a General Motors vehicle to drive and evaluate. Note: program participants are required to purchase/lease a qualifying GM vehicle every four years unless one of a limited number of exceptions applies.
