Job Description

South Shore Technical seeks a qualified Long Term Substitute for our HVAC-R Program for the 2025-2026 school year. Chapter 74 DESE Licensure in HVAC-R or experienced industry professionals with an interest in teaching in an established vocational technical high school setting and who are eligible for temporary waiver of state teaching licensure requirements are invited to apply. Requirements: - High School diploma or equivalent; - 5 for more years of documented direct industry experience; and - Current Section 608 EPA certification at the universal level. This position will start on Tuesday August 26 2025 and will run through the end of the 2025-2026 school year currently scheduled for June 12 2026. Per diem rate of pay is negotiable based upon experience and teaching position is eligible for all benefit plans offered to South Shore Technical employee including health dental vision life and long-term disability insurance.
