Job Description
Company:
Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Modification Electrician F&H B to join our team in Everett WA.
Position Responsibilities:
- Follow the guidance and direction from lead and senior SMEs
- Remove replace adjust and/or install equipment racks power panels and various aircraft components/assemblies and closures
- Perform bond and ground testing to ensure electrical ground between aircraft systems
- Perform wire routing and wire terminations
- Perform soldering
- Perform pre and post testing of electrical systems
- Locate work area using drawings Installation Plan or other paperwork that specifies airplane number section number and three-point location
- Obtain and verify detail parts standards and assemblies were issued correctly and are free of visible defects
- Perform lock out tag out try out equipment for safety
- Perform detailed tool inventories daily
- Demonstrate a safe work ethic
- Work with military customers to ensure compliance with BDS policies and procedures
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 1 years of experience in performing complete operational testing of electrical systems
- 1 years of experience in electronics or electrical troubleshooting
- Experience reading and interpreting system prints and schematics

- This is a union-represented position
- This is an hourly position governed by the International Association of Machinist (IAM 751) Collective Bargaining Agreement. New Hires as well as employees who transfer from non-union positions may be required to attend some type of training upon their start. Once any required training has been completed all new employees will be considered on probation for a period of sixty (60) calendar days. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of the probationary period.
- The selected candidate must be able to work any shift as assigned
