Modification Electrician F&H B

Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Modification Electrician F&H B to join our team in Everett WA.

Position Responsibilities:

• Follow the guidance and direction from lead and senior SMEs
• Remove replace adjust and/or install equipment racks power panels and various aircraft components/assemblies and closures
• Perform bond and ground testing to ensure electrical ground between aircraft systems
• Perform wire routing and wire terminations
• Perform soldering
• Perform pre and post testing of electrical systems
• Locate work area using drawings Installation Plan or other paperwork that specifies airplane number section number and three-point location
• Obtain and verify detail parts standards and assemblies were issued correctly and are free of visible defects
• Perform lock out tag out try out equipment for safety
• Perform detailed tool inventories daily
• Demonstrate a safe work ethic
• Work with military customers to ensure compliance with BDS policies and procedures

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 1 years of experience in performing complete operational testing of electrical systems
• 1 years of experience in electronics or electrical troubleshooting
• Experience reading and interpreting system prints and schematics

• This is a union-represented position
• This is an hourly position governed by the International Association of Machinist (IAM 751) Collective Bargaining Agreement. New Hires as well as employees who transfer from non-union positions may be required to attend some type of training upon their start. Once any required training has been completed all new employees will be considered on probation for a period of sixty (60) calendar days. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of the probationary period.
