Job Summary
The Plant Support Generation Specialist for the valve engineering team will support a broad range of systems. This role provides technical support for AOV MOV and check valve programs. The role will focus on complex troubleshooting equipment condition assessment and trending preventive maintenance adjustments / deferrals as well as support for minor design changes.This position works under minimum supervision to perform assigned tasks and coordinate assigned initiatives through completion. The position will maintain effective working relationships with others.
Job Description
Key Accountabilities
- Prepares and presents routine reports
- Participates in special project and committee assignments as requested
- Assist and occasionally lead routine problem-solving efforts
- Identifies and performs task as required to meet objectives
- Lead interpretation and analysis of complex issues
- Coordinates assigned projects studies and initiatives through completion
- Comply with safety policy and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Prepare and present reports including recommendations to resolve complex issues
- Participate in and on occasion lead special project and committees including external organizations
- Lead complex problem - solving efforts
Education Experience & Skill Requirements
- High School Diploma and 15 years related job experience
- 10 years valve experience highly desired
- Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills
