Job Description
Four Star Seafood is a leading provider of fresh high-quality seafood to restaurants chefs and consumers in the Bay Area. We are passionate about the ocean and committed to sustainable practices. We are seeking a reliable and responsible delivery driver to join our team!
As a Seafood Delivery Driver you will be responsible for delivering fresh seafood orders to our customers in a timely and efficient manner. You will be responsible for loading and unloading your vehicle ensuring the safe and proper handling of our products and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Drive safely and efficiently to assigned delivery locations.
- Load and unload orders from the company vehicle following proper handling procedures to maintain the freshness and quality of the seafood.
- Verify orders for accuracy and completeness before departure.
- Deliver orders to customers on time with a positive attitude professional manner aligning with the companys core values.
- Collect payments and process paperwork as required.
- Keep the company vehicle clean and organized as required for successful distribution of products (vehicle and gas a re provided).
- Report any issues or concerns to dispatch immediately including all collisions or malfunctions.
- Comply with all company policies procedures and applicable laws.
- Minimum Age: 25 years old (insurance requirement).
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record (Minimum of 3 years).
- Ability to safely operate a delivery vehicle.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive and professional attitude.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Experience with food delivery is a plus.
- Familiarity with the City/Region area is a plus.
Work Hours and Availability:
This is a full-time position based out of the San Francisco location. Approximate hours: 6:00am 2:30pm; some flexibility is required. Hours vary based on business needs.
Compensation and Benefits:
The pay scale for this position is $20.00 $22.50 per hour. Employee benefits are available for all qualifying full-time employees including paid time off medical vision and dental addition employees receive fresh seafood products and company merchandise at cost plus 10%.
