Job DetailsJob Title Jr QA EngineerJob Location Remote position IndiaKey ObjectivesHands on experience withEDW source to target testing SQL scripting manual and automationData transformation manipulation testing SQL scripting manual and automationData quality completeness validation SQL scripting manual and automationWorking knowledge and testing experience of ETLExperience in running the processes through the schedulerQuality Assurance Process Improvement and CollaborationDevelop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate data within on prem and cloud datawarehousesConduct thorough testing of ETL processes dimensional data models and reporting outputsIdentify document and track data quality issues working closely with data engineers to resolve themValidate data loading transformation and aggregation processesEnsure data consistency and integrity across different data sources and systemsCollaborate with the Data Quality and Data Engineering team to define quality benchmarks and metricsContinuously improve QA testing strategies and methodologiesImplement best practices for data validation and error handlingAssist in the design and implementation of data quality assurance tools and frameworksWork closely with BA data architect data engineers QA and stakeholders to understand datarequirements and deliverablesWork closely with the Lead Data QA Engineer to design develop maintain and support testinginfrastructureProvide detailed reports on data quality findings and testing outcomesContribute insights and recommendations to enhance data quality and processing efficiencyRequirementsBachelors or Masters in Computer Science or equivalentStrong understanding of Data Warehouse Data Quality fundamentals2 to 3 years of experience in data warehouse development testing2 to 3 years of experience with SQL Server and SSIS SSAS SSRS testingMust be experienced in Data Warehousing Projects with good knowledge of ETL testingStrong in SQL RDBMS ETL and DW conceptsExperience in validating Reports Dashboards on tools like Tableau MS Power BI etcGreat attention to detail with a result driven test approachSelf starter strong drive bias to action commitment with solid work ethicsWillingness to take on big challenges and own the results from brainstorming to executionExcellent written and verbal communication skills Able to influence others effectivelyWillingness to provide off hour support as needed or on a rotation basisYou are a Great Fit If You HaveMinimum 2 to 3 years of Quality Assurance experience manual automated testing with a proven track record ofimproving Data Quality by implementing QA best practices within organizationSSIS MSSQL experience intermediate or senior levelExperience with the Snowflake and DBT is a plusExperience in using QA automation toolsETL process knowledge Knowledge of data warehouse testing proceduresDesirable qualifications plusesKnowledge of Insurance Data its processesData validation experience between on prem cloud hybrid architectureFamiliarity with cloud computing and the data ecosystem on Snowflake
