Your new role
Were seeking a Kitchen & Wellbeing Support Worker to help create a safe inclusive and welcoming environment in our mental health day program. The role involves preparing nutritious meals overseeing kitchen operations supporting participant wellbeing guiding volunteers and assisting with program activities alongside mental health support staff.

Working 9am2pm Monday to Friday youll help foster a safe welcoming space where people feel seen valued and supported. This is more than just a job - its a chance to make a real impact and go home each day knowing youve brightened someones world.
Whats on offer
In addition to a base salary causal loading salary packaging superannuation you will have access to:

About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Working with Children Check & Police Check (or willing to obtain)
- Food Safety Level 1 (or willing to obtain)
- Preferred: Cert II in Hospitality or Kitchen Operations
- Experience in community mental health or support settings
- Hospitality or kitchen experience
- Volunteer supervision experience (desirable)
- Knowledge of food safety & hygiene
- Comfortable working with diverse backgrounds
- Coffee machine use (training available)
- Supportive inclusive and recovery-focused approach
