The successful candidate would be responsible for the planning and implementation of instruction in both general music classes for grades K-8 and for band students in grades 5-8. The teacher would also be responsible for two major music productions each year at Advent time and in the spring. The successful candidate would be welcomed into a faculty of bright and faithful individuals who would support the new teacher in and out of the classroom. The ideal candidate is a practicing Catholic and has a passion for the teaching vocation and sharing their Catholic faith with their students. The candidate is able to provide and maintain an orderly classroom environment is excited to positively collaborate with colleagues and is committed to consistent effective communication with parents and is willing to perform other duties as instructed by administration. Applicants must have a minimum of a bachelors degree and have obtained a current elementary or secondary State of Michigan teaching certificate.
