Were seeking askilled and dependable Lead Production Technicianto oversee the technical heartbeat of our seasonal this hands-on leadership role youll supervise a team of talented technicians coordinate nightly operations and ensure every systemfrom eerie audio landscapes to atmospheric special effectsdelivers a flawless guest experience.
Youll be both a leader and a doer: guiding your crew troubleshooting issues in real-time maintaining safety and quality standards and making sure the show goes onno matter what.
Supervise mentor and support Production and Show Technicians during setup nightly operations and teardown.
Coordinate and lead nightly pre-show inspections; assign crew responsibilities based on operational priorities.
Provide hands-on support for technical systems including audio lighting fog/haze/snow effects pneumatics and prop controllers.
Serve as the primary point of contact for urgent or complex technical issues during live events.
Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with technical standards across all operations.
Monitor service and maintain equipment to ensure consistent high-quality performance.
Document system status repairs and inventory updates in nightly reports.
Assist with onboarding training and cross-training new technical crew members.
Collaborate closely with management to meet show objectives and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Must be 18 with reliable transportation.
Proven experience with lighting sound and video systems for live events theater or themed entertainment.
Working knowledge of AC/DC electrical safety low-voltage wiring and pneumatic systems.
Hands-on experience with prop controllers (e.g. Fright Ideas Gilderfluke).
Supervisory or crew leadership experience preferred.
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Strong troubleshooting problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
Detail-oriented and thrives under pressure in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
Availability to work nights weekends and holidays throughout the event.
Experience supervising or training technical crews in live-event settings.
Familiarity with operating atmospheric effects equipment (fog haze snow).
Background in technical theater theme parks or immersive event production.
Skills in welding or metal fabrication.
Previous haunted attraction production experience a plus.
Full-time seasonalposition (approx. 40 hours/week).
Primarily evening and weekend shifts with extended hours during peak operations.
