Job Description

Senior Python Developer 12 Month Contract

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the technical modernisation of our Djangobased insurance platform
Design and implement robust APIs and integrations
Drive best practices in software development and system architecture
Mentor and technically grow team members
Contribute to system design decisions and technical direction
Implement security best practices and maintain data integrity

Technical Requirements:

Strong experience with Python and Django framework
Proven experience with API development and integration
Solid understanding of MariaDB/MySQL and database optimisation
Experience with modern development practices and tools
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Understanding of security best practices in financial systems
