Our WAMC Asset Operations & Management team is currently seeking to appoint an Asset Management Coordinator to implement asset management processes practices and systems to deliver high quality services and drive value from the Water Administration Ministerial Corporations (WAMC) asset portfolio. Coordinate asset management functions and assurance activities on the management and performance of the WAMC assets and ensure compliance with relevant Department and NSW Treasury Policies.
A day in this role could involve developing and maintaining strong governance processes for asset lifecycle activities and managing a portfolio of continuous improvement projects to enhance asset management maturity across the Directorate. The role provides expert advice to guide and support asset managers operation staff and stakeholders across the organisation to define and achieve their asset management objectives.
About You
As the asset management coordinator you will have proven capability developing and implementing asset management plans utilising asset data to inform long term asset and financial planning. You maintain awareness of industry trends and provide expert advice and clarity to guide and support asset managers operation staff and stakeholders across the organisation to define and achieve their asset management objectives.
You effectively communicate asset management strategies plans and policies and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver work assignments to achieve outcomes.
To be successful in this role ideally you will possess appropriate tertiary qualifications or have sound professional experience establishing and maintaining asset management systems within a large and complex organisation.
