Job Description
Our client is seeking a Junior to MidLevel Software Tester to join their team in ensuring the delivery of highquality software. This role is ideal for someone with handson testing experience a strong attention to detail and a desire to grow their skills across both manual and technical testing.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute detailed test plans and test cases (positive and negative scenarios).
- Conduct functional exploratory and regression testing.
- Identify log and track defects through to resolution.
- Generate clear and thorough test reports.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman.
- Execute basic SQL queries to validate data integrity.
- Contribute to test automation using tools like Cypress Selenium or Cucumber.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 12 years commercial experience in software testing or QA.
- ISTQB Certification is mandatory.
- Experience testing web and mobile applications.
- Proficiency in Black Box / Functional Testing methodologies.
- Handson experience with Postman SQL querying and version control systems like Git.
- Basic understanding of JavaScript.
- Exposure to UI automation and performance testing is advantageous.
- Relevant tertiary qualification is preferable.
- Experience working in Agile environments is a plus.
