- Certificate in Information Technology or related fields (NQF 5)
- Diploma in Information Technology or related fields (NQF 6) Advantageous
- Additional certifications (CompTIA Microsoft or other industryrelated certifications) are a plus.
- 5 years experience in a similar role
- Office 365 experience Advantageous
- Computer Literacy (MS Office Suite and jobspecific software)
- Certificate Microsoft Client Operating Systems

Responsibilities
Cyber Security (20%)
- Deploy and maintain endpoint security solutions (antivirus antimalware intrusion detection/prevention).
- Monitor systems and networks for security breaches and vulnerabilities.
- Respond to security incidents and take appropriate measures.
- Raise awareness about cyber security threats and best practices.
- Deliver and evaluate cyber security training (e.g. KnowBe4).
- Ensure regular completion and documentation of cyber security training.
- Install configure and troubleshoot hardware/software for desktops laptops and printers.
- Provide enduser support and training.
- Perform regular maintenance updates and patches.
- Deploy and monitor Windows updates across the organization.
- Ensure backups run as scheduled and monitor backup performance.
- Regularly test data recovery processes.
- Provide reports on backup status and resolve issues.
- Maintain and update backup hardware/software.
- Provide technical support for Sage Payroll Register My Battery and warehouse scanning systems.
- Ensure system uptime and user satisfaction.
- Ensure responsible use of resources and costsaving initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with financial and operational procedures.
- Report risks and areas of concern.
- Implement corrective actions and ensure housekeeping standards.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external customers.
- Solve problems efficiently and uphold company values.
