Job Description

A position for a Finance Manager exists at Fidelity Cleaning Services. The overall purpose of this position is to support the CFO FADT and Executive of Cleaning and to oversee finance roles key focus is to ensure the full management of the Finance Department and Manage compliance to all group policies as well as accounting standards.

Qualifications experience and other competencies required:

  • BCom Degree in Accounting.
  • 58 years experience as a Senior Finance Manager.
  • Computer literate in MS Office suite with Advance Excel.
  • Cleaning experience advantageous
  • SAP Experience.
  • IFRS.
  • Stock Management
  • Financial Acumen.
  • Planning & Budgeting.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Administration interpersonal communication and customer liaison skills are required.
  • Own vehicle and valid drivers license.
  • Clear Criminal Record.

Key areas of responsibility: (Not totally inclusive)

  • Oversight and review of all accounting functions in the setout area of responsibility.
  • Influence and drive the achievement of agreed/set out financial targets.
  • Maintaining the general accounting /cost accounting/payables and receivables.
  • Consolidate analyse and report on financial performance as well as corrective preventative and improvement initiatives required to achieve financial strategies and targets.
  • Develop and implement improvements to the control framework to support accurate financial reporting and ongoing assessment of risks and associated controls.
  • Compilation of monthly Reporting Packs.
  • Ensure the adequacy of balance sheet structuring.
  • Preparation of subsidiary Annual financial statements.
  • Preparation of Quarterly CEO Report.
  • Adhoc requirements as required by CFO FADT and Cleaning Executive including benchmarking for Business Plan.
  • Control of Monthly journals.
  • Planning of monthly quarterly and annual reporting continuous process optimization.
  • Ensure profitability analysis monthly
  • Management of Open P/Os
  • Management of payroll procedures
  • Ensure cost controls and budgets adhered too
  • Management of Limits of Authority with all expenses
  • Management of cost initiatives and savings
  • Ensure correct stock procedures and controls are adhered too
