Job Description

The IT Support Agent is responsible for providing technical support to employees within the Labournet Group. Ensuring that employees have functional company equipment keeping record thereof and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. The main criteria of successful job performance is ensuring that the agreed service levels are met or exceeded for end-user support. 

Minimum Experience Required: 

  • 2-3 years of practical work in the field of IT and IT Support (at user system and network level) 
  • Troubleshooting Windows 11 
  • Experience with the Office 365 Admin Center  
  • Experience in troubleshooting and performing administrative tasks on desktops laptops and end- user devices 
  • Experience in liaising with partners and vendors 
  • Experience with ticket handling and management systems including prioritisation 
  • Working knowledge and experience with Active Directory 

Core metrics: 

  • Physical ability to do manual labour (install network cables laptops printers etc.) 
  • Ability to interact and communicate on all levels. 
  • Troubleshoot all IT related queries  
  • Maintain systems to ensure quality control. 

 


Qualifications :

  • Matric 
  • A N MCSA / MSCE 
  • Diploma/B. Degree in IT would be advantageous
