Job Description
Red Ember Recruitment s client is seeking an experienced and strategic IT Manager to take ownership of their IT infrastructure and operations.
This role involves managing internal and outsourced IT services leading IT projects aligning technology initiatives with business goals and ensuring compliance with security standards and policies. The successful candidate will also handle budgeting vendor relationships and support the business s ERP systems (preferably SAGE/SAP).
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee IT infrastructure and ensure minimal system downtime
- Manage IT vendors and SLA performance
- Lead IT projects and upgrades (hardware/software)
- Ensure security compliance and manage risk
- Deliver strategic IT solutions aligned with business needs
- Train internal staff and support system roll-outs
- Manage IT budgets and procurement
- Maintain business continuity and system integrity
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in IT (Postgrad advantageous)
- Minimum 5 years in IT Management or Systems Administration
- Experience in infrastructure networking and security
- Strong ERP exposure (SAGE/SAP preferred) ideally in retail
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks and IT governance
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
