Duties & Responsibilities
Job Position: Business Development / Sales Rep (Logistics and Transportation)
Ref: 5059
Location: PE/Gqeberha or Johannesburg
Salary: Commensurate with qualification and experience
Logistics company looking for a dynamic sales-driven person with experience in logistics / transportationwith a main focus on bringing in new business and growing the companys presence in Port Elizabeth and Johannesburg
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Minimum of Matric
- Valid drivers license and own transportation
- Incumbent needs to be able to converse in English and Afrikaans (predominantly an Afrikaans customer base)
- Sales experience in a transport/logistics environment
- Knowledge of the relevant markets (existing client base or network would be an advantage)
- Skilled in securing new clients and maintaining long-term partnerships
- Confident communicator competitive nature with solid negotiations skills
- Self-driven dynamic and target focused - someone who enjoys a hunter role
- Contactable references and stable track record
