Responsibilities:

• Spearhead the definition and evolution of Group Platforms spanning applications data technology architecture and security ensuring all solutions are scalable secure and cloudready.
• Champion the strategic alignment of systems data and integration efforts across all business units fostering a cohesive and efficient technology ecosystem.
• Drive the development and implementation of the Information Security strategy embedding securebydesign principles throughout the technology landscape.
• Lead and mentor highperforming technology teams overseeing performance management capacity planning demand management and career development initiatives.
• Direct IT Governance manage technology budgets and financials effectively and oversee audit risk and compliance processes to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
• Serve as the operational owner for shared IT platforms (including identity integration content management and cloud services) managing their roadmaps lifecycle and vendor relationships.
• Ensure robust incident resolution patching service availability and support models for all group platforms owning escalation processes and crossteam coordination.
• Collaborate closely with Information Security to guarantee platform compliance and audit readiness.
• Enable successful solution delivery by providing platform readiness assessments integration reviews and ensuring visibility of technical dependencies and risks.
• Foster the adoption of DevOps and CI/CD tooling and practices across technology teams to enhance agility and delivery speed.

Requirements:

• MustHaves (Essential for Consideration):
• Technical:
  • Proven experience in defining and evolving grouplevel platforms across applications data technology infrastructure and security.
  • Strong understanding and experience with cloudready architectures and solutions.
  • Demonstrable experience in guiding system data and integration alignment across multiple business units.
  • Indepth knowledge of Information Security strategy and securebydesign principles.
  • Experience managing shared IT platforms (e.g. identity integration content cloud).
  • Familiarity with IT Governance audit risk and compliance management within a regulated industry.
• Professional:
  • A Computer Science or Information Technology related university degree.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in managing and leading technology teams at a senior level.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of effective team management including performance demand capacity and career development.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial management for technology departments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationshipbuilding skills.
  • Experience managing outsourced service providers.

  • Experience specifically within the Financial Services industry (Wealth Insure Asset Management).
  • Demonstrated experience with DevOps and CI/CD tooling adoption and implementation.
  • Experience in modernizing legacy technology stacks.
  • Advanced certifications in IT governance security (e.g. CISSP CISM) or cloud platforms.
  • Proven ability to influence and shape business strategy from a technology perspective.
