Dispatch & Warehouse Supervisor Chemicals & Logistics Luton UK

Are you an experienced logistics professional with handson expertise in handling dangerous goods and chemicals Join LGCs highimpact supply chain team and help drive safe and compliant shipping operations for critical life science materials.

Join our growing team as a Dispatch & Warehouse Supervisor!

Were looking for someone with a passion for logistics a strong attention to detail and the confidence to lead a team in a highresponsibility this critical role youll coordinate the daytoday operations of our Dispatch function ensuring all shipping storage and compliance needs are met to the highest standards.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Oversee despatch activities including packing storing and shipping hazardous and nonhazardous goods
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and handle customs/export documentation
  • Handle a dedicated warehouse team and ensure delivery deadlines are met
  • Oversee courier tracking thirdparty collections and special delivery instructions
  • Support inventory control labelling and segregation of expired and specialised waste
  • Continuously improve workflows and maintain a safe tidy warehouse environment
  • Train develop and appraise team members conducting regular checkins
  • Handle holiday absence and HR administration for your team

Qualifications :

To be considered you must have:

  • At least 3 years experience in a chemical logistics or hazardous materials environment

  • Proven knowledge of ADR/IATA/IMDG regulations

  • Dangerous Goods Handling Certification or similar is essential

  • Experience with chemical storage segregation and export documentation for hazardous goods
