Job Description
Our clients in the financial space are on the hunt for an Intermediate BI Developer based within the Cape Town Region. As a PowerBI Developer you will be developing visuals as required and expressing your skillset while growing it substantially.
- Designing and developing scalable intuitive Power BI dashboards reports and semantic data models
- Building and publishing Power BI datasets using best practices for reusability and performance
- Integrating data from various structured and unstructured sources (e.g. SQL Excel APIs SharePoint)
- Developing and maintaining efficient data transformation processes using Power Query and DAX
- Proposing and implementing robust Power BI solution architectures including data flows refresh schedules and governance
- Collaborating with internal IT teams to access stage and structure source data
- Supporting business teams in building and customizing reports using published datasets
- Ensuring high performance of reports and dashboards through optimization techniques
- Facilitating UAT sessions and providing postdeployment support to ensure successful adoption
Requirements
- Diploma in Information Technology or similar
- 3 Years Actively utilizing PowerBI
- 3 Years Fulfilling the role of a BI Developer
- Experience with Power Query and DAX
- Experience developing reports and semantic data models
PowerBI, Dax, SQL, Data Analytics
