Job Description
DTP Operator ( Layout Artist)
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Appropriate Degree or qualification in Desk Top Publishing
- 3 5 years experience in DTP/Layout Artist role within a reputable agency
- Retail layout experience is beneficial
- Strong layout skills
- Multitask and deadline driven
- Fast efficient and Accurate
- Manage self and work within a team
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite 6 (InDesign Illustrator & Photoshop)
- Retouching ability Advantageous
Responsibilities:
- Interpreting of briefs to the brief objectives.
- Layout and design leaflets and POS from inception to completion.
- Ensure consistency of all Layout and design material to brand guidelines.
- Meticulous attention to detail & ability to problem solve in a challenging retail environment.
- Work closely with creative team to develop effective marketing communications.
- Efficiently manage and check own artwork.
- Provide support to line manager.
