Job Description
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business Law or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Tax Compliance and Finance within the freight forwarding/transport industry.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly tax reports ensuring accuracy of contributions.
- Review and audit tax obligations and liaise with local authorities.
- Prepare analysis for the CFO and work closely with the Tax Director flagging and resolving issues when they arise.
- Ensure invoice compliance in accordance to local legislation (African countries).
- Ensure the accuracy of taxes and fees.
- Align compliance with local regulations.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders.
