Job Description
Hybrid position
Minimum requirements:
- 4 years of sales experience (experience in software or technology an advantage)
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets
- Proven track record in new business development a must
- Experience in selling to wholesalers manufacturers and/ or wholesalers
- Good listener who is able to partner with prospects to understand challenges and present solutions
- Experience in presenting solutions to prospects
- Experience selling to manufacturers/ wholesalers/ distributors
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with sales technology tools including CRM ( is advantageous) sales engagement platforms and Microsoft Office
- Good business acumen
- Entrepreneurial spirit
Responsibilities:
- Unearthing new sales opportunities and leads through networking and cold calling
- Effectively engage with new prospects and win deals by using a consultative business valueorientated approach that resonates with decisionmakers
- Seek first to understand ask probing questions and look for areas where the company can add and create value for the prospect
- Create detailed business plans to reach predetermined goals and quotas
- Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data
- Partner with SDRs and Marketing to develop gotomarket strategies
- Update and maintain prospect information and sales activities on the companys choice of CRM systems
