Job Description
Introduction
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Actuarial Executive with a strong background in General Insurance to join our clients team.
In this pivotal role you will lead and review projects across all areas of short-term actuarial services encompassing technical provisions (IBNR UPR AURR stochastic risk adjustments often in R/Python) and providing essential IFRS 17 reporting and HAF support. Youll be crucial in capital modelling including reviews of economic capital models building challenger models and quantitative validation of SAM/RBC standard formulas.
Minimum Requirements:
- Qualified or near-qualified actuary
- Bachelors degree in Actuarial Science Statistics Mathematics or a related field.
- At least seven years experience in General Insurance with a focus on pricing reserving and capital modelling.
- Strong proficiency in statistical modelling techniques; R programming is advantageous. Experience with SAM ORSAs valuations and solvency calculations is beneficial.
- Highly motivated strong work ethic excellent communication and presentation skills meticulous attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Project and people management experience is a plus.
