Job Description
Hire Resolves client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mine Planner to join their dynamic mining team in Gauteng. As a Senior Mine Planner you will be responsible for designing and implementing strategic and operational mine plans ensuring the efficient and safe extraction of minerals.
Responsibilities:
- Create and optimize short-term and medium-term mine plans
- Ensure Zero Harm culture through compliance with SHE policies standards and governance.
- Lead by example in SHE standards and operational campaigns.
- Conduct regular safety and operational inspections with prompt remediation.
- Define team roles to maintain effective performance.
- Develop rolling plans with stakeholders to align with business goals.
- Schedule resources for mining activities to meet targets.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Hons Degree in Mining Engineering/Geology or related field
- 5 years experience in underground mine planning
- Extensive experience ingeological modelling software (Minex) andmine planning software (RPM Global - UGCS)
- Valid Drivers License
