This is a unique Band 1 Senior Executive opportunity to shape and lead the alignment of technology architecture and systems across the Department of Planning Housing and Infrastructure.
As the Director Technology Engagement youll lead the charge in ensuring digital solutions truly work for the people who use them. Youll collaborate with stakeholders across the department to understand their challenges and help co-design technology services that improve how work gets done driving better business outcomes through smarter systems and support.
The tricky part is balancing technical capability with real-world usabilitymanaging competing priorities engaging diverse users and navigating constant change. Youll need to be a clear communicator a strategic thinker and someone who can turn complexity into simplicity while fostering trust innovation and adoption across the board.

You are a strategic and people-focused technology leader who will bring a wealth of experience in ICT and digital architecture coupled with exceptional leadership and communication skills. Your ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and align technology initiatives with business goals will be crucial. With a strategic mindset you will champion a client-first culture delivering high-quality outcomes and innovative solutions.
Your commitment to customer service along with your adeptness at navigating and balancing competing demands will drive the departments success in achieving its operational requirements and strategic objectives.
