Power Platform Developer

ENVIRONMENT

Our client is seeking a skilled Power Platform Developer to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools and related low-code technologies with a strong background in SharePoint development. This role offers an exciting opportunity to build business-critical applications automate workflows and contribute to innovative digital transformation initiatives.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design develop and maintain applications and workflows using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps Power Automate Power BI Power Virtual Agents).
• Build and optimize solutions leveraging Dataverse (Common Data Service) and Microsoft Teams integrations.
• Develop and maintain SharePoint solutions (2010/2013/2016/2019 and SharePoint Online).
• Implement and support Dataflows Data Gateways and integration points with other enterprise systems.
• Apply solid software design principles and best practices to ensure scalable maintainable and secure solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders architects and other developers in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
• Participate in requirement analysis solution design testing and documentation.
• Stay current with new technologies and development methodologies continually enhancing skills and knowledge.
• Ensure solutions adhere to compliance and governance frameworks including POPIA GDPR ISO Document Management and other regulatory standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Qualifications & Certifications:

• Microsoft Certifications: PL-100 (Power Platform App Maker) PL-200 (Power Platform Functional Consultant) PL-400 (Power Platform Developer) or PL-600 (Power Platform Solution Architect).

Experience:

• 3 years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform or equivalent low-code development platforms.
• 35 years of hands-on experience with SharePoint (2010/2013/2016/2019 and SharePoint Online).
• Experience developing multiple production-level apps and automated flows.
• Strong knowledge of Dataverse (CDS) Microsoft Teams integrations Dataflows and Data Gateways.
• Experience implementing compliance components related to POPIA GDPR and ISO standards.
• Proven experience working within Agile and SCRUM methodologies.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of software design principles architectural patterns and development best practices.
• Solid knowledge of data management governance and security within Power Platform and SharePoint.
• Familiarity with integration between Power Platform and other enterprise systems.
