Theyre growing fast and looking for a **Senior Technical Manual Tester** to join their quality engineering team. If youre meticulous process-driven and thrive on ensuring that software is bulletproof before it hits production this is your chance to play a pivotal role in shaping high-impact digital products used by millions.
Duties & Responsibilities
What Youll Be Doing:
- Define and execute detailed test plans and test cases for web and desktop applications
- Perform manual testing to identify document and manage defects
- Collaborate with developers business analysts and product owners in Agile teams
- Contribute to the quality strategy ensuring test coverage and traceability
- Analyze requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Help ensure delivery of high-quality secure and compliant software products
What Youll Need to Succeed:
- 5 to 7 years experience as a QA Engineer
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or similar field
- Deep understanding of testing methodologies and the SDLC/STLC
- Strong knowledge of defect management processes and tools (e.g. JIRA Xray)
- Practical experience with web and desktop applications
- Familiarity with HTML XML JavaScript SQL
- Knowledge of Agile practices and strong collaboration skills
- Advantageous: experience with Document Processing/ECM systems
Location: Remote (South Africa-based)
Salary: R700000 R820000 per annum (negotiable based on experience)
