About the Role
As a Permanent Desk Recruiter youll be responsible for managing the complete recruitment lifecycle from initial client engagement through successful candidate placement. This is a fast-paced target-driven role perfect for a natural relationship builder who thrives in a sales-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management & Business Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively developing new business opportunities
- Conduct client meetings to understand hiring needs company culture and specific role requirements
- Provide market insights and salary benchmarking to support client decision-making
- Negotiate terms and secure new business agreements
Candidate Sourcing & Management
- Proactively source high-quality candidates through multiple channels including job boards social media networking and referrals
- Conduct thorough candidate screening interviews and skills assessments
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates across various skill levels
- Provide career guidance and interview coaching to candidates
End-to-End Placement Process
- Manage the complete recruitment process from job briefing to successful placement
- Prepare and submit compelling CV presentations that showcase candidate value
- Coordinate interview schedules and provide feedback to both clients and candidates
- Navigate salary negotiations and facilitate successful job offers
- Ensure smooth onboarding and follow-up post-placement
Sales & Target Achievement
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly placement targets
- Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and forecasting
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing client base
- Contribute to team revenue goals and business growth initiatives
Essential Requirements
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of permanent recruitment experience (agency)
- Proven track record in end-to-end candidate placement and achieving targets
- Strong experience in candidate sourcing across multiple platforms and methodologies
- Demonstrated success in client relationship management and business development
- Experience with CV writing and presentation to maximize candidate appeal
