Job Description
- Contribute practical knowledge to Product Backlog Refinement (PBR) and Sprint Planning.
- Design and create robust test plans test cases and regression scripts.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to prepare and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) handovers to business teams.
- Conduct and engage in walkthrough sessions to ensure shared understanding and alignment on requirements.
- Actively collaborate and communicate with team members and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Work closely with Development and Business QA to facilitate efficient development testing and smooth deployment cycles including critical updates like patches and hotfixes.
- Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies (e.g. daily stand-ups Product Backlog Refinement Sprints etc.)
- A relevant tertiary qualification would be beneficial but not essential.
- 3-5 years of software testing experience with a minimum of 2 years focused on specific technologies.
- A solid understanding of the Life Insurance sector.
- Capable of performing performance and security testing with proficiency in tools such as Postman (including authentication) Pilotfish and Hyphen.
- Proficient in Postman for API testing and JIRA for comprehensive bug and project tracking.
- Proficient in performing regression testing and familiar with Scribe for documentation/test management and Gherkin for behavior-driven development (BDD) test specification.
- Experience with test management tools proficiency in SQL queries and an understanding of code-based testing. A proactive approach to learning and adopting the latest testing tools is essential.
