Duties & Responsibilities
What youll be doing:
Develop and implement robust application and behavioural scorecard models.
Take complete ownership of model build from concept to implementation with no hand-holding.
Work cross-functionally and independently identify the right stakeholders (credit compliance business data) to engage.
Ensure full regulatory alignment with IFRS9 Basel and internal governance standards.
Proactively explore new techniques data sources and model improvements.
Act as a thought leader in model design and innovation not just a technical executor.
Were looking for someone who:
Has proven experience building credit scorecards from the ground up.
Understands the credit lifecycle model governance and the role models play in business decision-making.
Has the confidence and independence to drive modelling initiatives without supervision.
Brings an innovative mindset and can think beyond the textbook.
Has solid knowledge of regulatory compliance in the credit risk space.
Is fluent in tools like Python SAS R or SQL.
Minimum Requirements:
4 years experience in credit risk modelling or quantitative analytics.
Background in Statistics Mathematics Data Science or a related field.
Experience working with large datasets and building production-grade models.
