A well-established international engineering company is seeking an experienced and technically proficient Fan System and Ventilation Engineer to support projects across the African and Middle Eastern regions. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to turnkey ventilation system solutions for large-scale mining and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and selection of fan stations and ventilation systems based on client specifications.
Prepare and manage detailed technical tender documentation.
Collaborate with internal engineering and commercial teams to develop optimal project solutions.
Manage selected projects to ensure delivery on time within scope and budget.
Foster long-term customer relationships through proactive engagement and support.
Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable):
Mechanical Engineering degree (BTech BEng or BSc Eng).
Minimum 3 years experience in a mining or industrial sales environment with Mine Ventilation Engineering experience.
Sound technical understanding of fans and ventilation systems.
Practical knowledge of NEC and FIDIC standard contracts.
Proven experience with tender documentation and basic project management principles.
Proficient in MS Office Suite AutoCAD and project management tools.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Membership with ECSA or SAIMechE advantageous.
