Duties:
Business Analysis & Requirements
- Conduct stakeholder workshops research and interviews to elicit business needs.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to design practical and scalable solutions.
- Translate business needs into clear testable and actionable requirements.
Data Analysis & Insight
- Write interpret and optimise data queries.
- Use tools such as SQL Power BI Excel and QlikView for analysis.
- Apply data insights to improve systems and reporting.
Process Optimisation
- Map current and future state processes; identify areas for efficiency.
- Drive root-cause analysis and risk identification in core processes.
- Implement process controls and compliance tracking systems.
Project Execution
- Define and manage project scope risk and delivery timelines.
- Ensure UAT readiness training documentation and user adoption.
Leadership & Strategy
- Lead analytics roadmaps and mentor technical teams.
- Recommend improvements to existing solutions and oversee delivery outcomes.
- Support change management and system implementation transitions.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Degree in IT Informatics Data Science or equivalent
- Certifications or exposure to business process mapping tools (e.g. Lucid Bizagi)
Experience:
- 8 years in Business/Data Analysis
- Experience with data modelling and systems migration
- Agile environment exposure (essential)
- Machine learning / AI exposure (preferred)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Suite Jira databases BI tools
Skills & Competencies:
- High analytical capability and affinity for data.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on execution and completion.
- Skilled in troubleshooting prioritisation and decision-making under pressure.
