Are you passionate about creating exceptional experiences while supporting meaningful connections Lehigh University seeks a dedicated Coordinator to join our vibrant Development and Alumni Relations department where youll play a pivotal role in strengthening our global community of alumni and supporters.
Position Number: S75920
This position is a Grade: 7 - 35.7 with an approximate salary range of $36640 - $43980 and is subject to change based on experience skills and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately update and maintain alumni and guest data in systems such as BANNER Argos and AlumnIQ/iModules.
Manage payment processing and tracking including cash checks and credit card transactions ensuring proper coding and reconciliation in event systems.
Oversee logistics for events including preparation of materials (name tags signage place cards) shipment of supplies and on-site event setup/teardown support.
Manage event registration and guest communication including assisting with sign-ups troubleshooting issues and maintaining accurate guest lists.
Serve as the first point of contact for guests responding professionally and courteously to inquiries via phone email and in-person.
Monitor and manage communication channels to provide timely and accurate information about event logistics policies and changes.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or the equivalent combination of education and experience
One to three years of related work experience
Proficiency in data management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in event coordination or administrative support preferred
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Customer service orientation with professional demeanor
