Purpose
The CAPACITI Advanced Digital Skills Programme is a year-long initiative designed to equip young tech professionals with the skills necessary to thrive in the digital economy. It begins with 6 months of intensive and immersive training in our Braamfontein Accelerator where candidates are streamed into career-specific tracks such as data engineering and software development. Following this candidates will participate in a 6-month internship with a CAPACITI corporate partner allowing them to apply the skills they developed during their training.
Programme Streams Successful candidates will be placed into one of the following specialised tracks based on their qualifications and programme availability:
Delivery Modality
Campus-based experiential learning and training as workplace simulation. Candidates collaborate and complete workplace activities like problem solving business communication and complete and submit practical assessments projects and examinations of work undertaken. The training element of the course is delivered over a minimum period of 6 months supported by extensive job and career critical skills training.

Minimum Requirements
NQF Level 6 or higher qualification in an IT specialised stream.
Completed qualifications in Computer Science Information Technology software development Cyber Security and other tech domain-specific qualifications.
Be able to provide your certificate of highest academic achievement.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to work well in a team and independently.
Must be an EE candidate
Personal and Eligibility Criteria
Have no criminal record and a clean credit history
South African nationality
Be between the Ages of 18-34
Be currently unemployed and not participating in any other learnership internship or graduate programme
Able to attend full-time training Monday to Friday
Able to commit to the full 12-month programme and committed to completing it
Be available from September 2025

Note: Applicants must meet the required minimum criteria in each phase of the recruitment process to progress to the next stage. This includes performing well in internal screening psychometric assessments and interviews. Eligibility Checks will also be conducted by our Funders including Naspers and the Jobs Fund.
