Job Description
Our client a leading name in the luxury safari industry is seeking a dedicated and experienced Management Couple to oversee one of their high-end safari camps located in Hwange.
Salary and Benefits:
- Negotiable.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the safari camp including guest activities housekeeping food service and staff supervision.
- Ensure high standards of guest hospitality and camp presentation reflecting the brands premium image.
- Oversee inventory management and ensure accurate stock control.
- Maintain the camps facilities coordinating repairs and ensuring general upkeep and cleanliness.
- Ensure all operations comply with company standards local regulations and wildlife authority requirements.
- Promote guest safety and satisfaction through professional service and personalised hosting.
- Provide support training and leadership to staff; manage performance and development.
- Drive team morale and a strong service culture within the camp.
- Represent the company positively to guests partners and the wider tourism community.
Key Skills:
- Excellent hosting and guest relations skills - warm sociable and professional.
- Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Effective under pressure with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Basic technical maintenance knowledge is a distinct advantage.
- Strong communication and team leadership skills.
- Proactive mature and solution-oriented
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated background in safari camp management or equivalent remote lodge experience.
- Operational knowledge across hospitality housekeeping maintenance and guest services.
