Description
We are actively seeking an experienced and handson Production Manager to join our clients team based in Observatory Cape Town. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and resultsdriven professional to oversee and lead production operations within a fastpaced FMCG environment. If you have strong leadership abilities exceptional organisational skills and a passion for efficiency and continuous improvement wed love to hear from you!
Responsibilities
Manage daily production planning and control to meet targets and timelines
Oversee stock control procedures and ensure accurate inventory tracking
Lead motivate and manage performance and conduct of factory employees
Ensure factory organisation according to 5S methodology
Identify analyse and resolve production issues promptly
Manage and improve Standard Minute Values (SMVs)
Ensure the ERP system is updated and aligned with production activities
Enforce health and safety and quality standards compliance across production operations
Prepare and submit daily and monthly production performance reports
Requirements
Matric (Grade 12) certificate
National Diploma or Degree in Industrial Engineering or Operations Management
Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar production management role
Experience in the FMCG industry is essential
Strong mathematical and problemsolving abilities
Excellent organisational and timemanagement skills
Assertive leadership with the ability to manage a team effectively
Proficient in Microsoft 365 especially Excel at a professional level
Valid drivers license
Willingness to work shifts when required
