Job Description
Minimum requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in a related field (e.g. Computer Science Information Technology).
- ISTQB or ISEB Foundation certification is required.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in quality assurance and testing.
- Proven experience in functional testing and UI automation testing.
- Familiarity with API automation testing using Karate DSL/Rest Assured.
- Intermediate SQL skills.
- Advantageous skills include experience in mathematical models testing intermediate Excel ETL testing and PowerBI testing.
Advantageous Skills:
- Mathematical Models Testing: Conduct testing related to mathematical models and algorithms.
- Intermediate Excel
- Create test harnesses and use Excel for testing purposes.
- ETL Testing: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data transformations and migrations.
- PowerBI Testing: Verify the functionality and accuracy of PowerBI reports and dashboards.
Responsibilities:
- Functional Testing
- Conduct comprehensive functional testing to ensure that software applications meet specified requirements.
- Create detailed test cases execute test scenarios and report defects.
- UI Automation Testing
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI testing using Cucumber and Selenium with Java.
- Ensure the reliability and performance of user interfaces.
- API Automation Testing
- Automate API testing processes using Karate DSL and Rest Assured.
- Verify data integrity and communication between systems.
- SQL Expertise
- Write and execute SQL queries to validate data and support testing efforts.
- Investigate and troubleshoot datarelated issues.
