Job Description
CONTRACT ROLE: 12 MONTHS (ONSITE)
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to departmental and company policies and rules
- Ensure compliance to all South African IT legislation and governance
- Ensure continuous improvement of standard operating procedures
- Contribute to the development and management of Service Level Agreements
- Ensure adherence to Company Data Governance policies and procedures as well as POPIA and GDPR principals
- Gather and analyse data from multiple sources to identify trends patterns and insights that inform business decisions
- Develop and deliver reports that provide stakeholders with actionable insights and recommendations
- Create and maintain dashboards that visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and other relevant metrics
- Work with crossfunctional teams to identify data requirements and ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Collaborate with other teams to integrate data from various sources and systems
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of reporting and analytics
- Stay uptodate with industry trends and best practices in reporting analytics and insights
- Lead analytical and reporting delivery within teams
- Share knowledge and practical experience with the analytics and insights community
- Challenge and contribute to the development of architectural principles and patterns
- Mentor and coach junior analysts to develop their skills and expertise
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or Equivalent Qualification
- Competency Certifications in Databricks Azure Data Analysis and other technologies highly advantageous
- 810 years of experience gathering requirements and analyzing data
- Experience working with data visualization tools such as Tableau Power BI or QlikView
- Proficiency in SQL Python and other programming languages commonly used in data analysis
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
