Key purpose:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager II to oversee the planning implementation and tracking of projects within our organization. The successful candidate will have completed a relevant undergrad degree/diploma and a minimum of 5 to 7 years of project management experience.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Give input to the development of the project budget
- Monitor project resources and spend against agreed budget
- Report on project spend throughout the project as agreed
- Build relationships that allow for the managing of expectations the sharing of knowledge and diverse insights and the creation of buyin
- Engage in crossfunctional relationships to obtain and to provide work support
- Improve Business Relationship with internal partners/stakeholders.
- Increase service delivery to clients by measuring team contribution with a customer survey.
- Create and maintain project documentation including a business case scope of work work schedule project plan deliverable and timeline schedule change plan close out report etc.
- Report on project progress at agreed intervals in accordance with agreed templates and formats
- Provide additional supporting reporting as identified and required for example risk analysis and reports etc.
- Follow a predetermined project approach to progress through the relevant project phases for example initiation analysis design build etc.
- Drive and report on project milestones and deliverables
- Escalate any issues and risks identified for resolution
- Follow change control procedures and manage projects according to identified standards and identified operating practices
- Conduct a project close out and provide input into ongoing benefit realization tracking
- Handover tasks and responsibilities as identified in the project plan for example production support system performance management etc.
- Develop and implement a change plan for the project
- Ensure that the most applicable communications are applied throughout the delivery of the project
- Ensure that adequate training is provided to the relevant stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the change initiated.
Qualifications and experience:
- Completed relevant undergrad degree/diploma
- 5 to 7 years project management experience
