GC Solar is looking for a driven and resultsoriented Business Developer to join our expanding team in either our Johannesburg head office or Cape Town branch. The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for identifying new business opportunities nurturing strategic relationships and driving revenue growth within the renewable energy and electrical infrastructure sectors.

Our clients include commercial developers engineers utility providers and key players in the infrastructure sector.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
- Identify and engage prospective clients across targeted sectors.
- Develop and implement strategies to open new markets and drive revenue growth.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with contractors consultants developers and strategic partners.
- Attend industry events expos and client meetings to promote GC Solar s value proposition.
Sales Strategy & Market Expansion
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align product offerings with market demands.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Reporting & CRM
- Maintain accurate records of interactions leads and conversions using our CRM system.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities forecasts and pipeline development.

Qualifications
- National Diploma or Degree in Business Marketing Engineering or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years in a business development or B2B sales role.
- Experience in the renewable energy solar or electrical industry is highly advantageous.
Skills
- Strong negotiation and networking abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Selfmotivated with a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strategic thinker with a commercial mindset.
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver s license and own vehicle.
- Willingness to travel between branches and to client sites nationally.
- Flexibility to attend afterhours events when required.
