Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on and solutions-driven IT Technician to join our this role youll be responsible for maintaining our IT infrastructure supporting end-users and ensuring all systems and networks run smoothly. If youre passionate about technology troubleshooting and delivering excellent support wed love to hear from you.
Tasks
- Provide technical support to users (hardware software and networking issues)
- Install configure and maintain desktops laptops printers and other IT equipment
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
- Troubleshoot system and network problems diagnosing and resolving faults
- Set up new user accounts and ensure proper system access and security
- Maintain documentation for IT systems and support procedures
- Assist with backups updates and system improvements
- Support IT projects and ensure minimal disruption to daily operations
Requirements
Matric plus a relevant IT qualification (e.g. A N or Diploma in IT)
23 years experience in a similar IT support or technician role
Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows Office Suite and basic networking
Familiarity with routers switches and network troubleshooting
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
Good communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and under pressure
High level of integrity and attention to detail
Preferred:
- Experience with Active Directory Office 365 or cloud-based services
- Drivers license and own transport (advantageous)
