About our client:

Our client is a leading global payments company who is building on their demonstrated success of transforming the payments landscape. This client hires for the long term so they are very happy to use your B2B or B2C experience to build your existing experience with ample opportunity for additional training and growth in a flexible environment. One of the few remaining hybrid opportunities so you can choose to work in the office full time (with good flexi-time to avoid traffic) or if you prefer you are welcome to do 2 or 3 days remote work a week.

What you will be doing:

Design and implement scalable responsive front-end architectures using React Native or Vue.
Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver cohesive and intuitive user experiences.
Write clean maintainable and testable code and optimize applications for performance.
Participate in agile development processes and communicate effectively with diverse technical proficiencies.
Play an active role in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency.
Stay up to date with the latest information to enhance team success.

What our client is looking for:

A relevant tertiary degree would be beneficial (Computer Science Engineering etc.).
Proven experience as a Front-End engineer ideally with exposure to Fintech or financial institutions.
Strong background in building and maintaining high-traffic Front-End systems.
Experience with TypeScript JavaScript HTML and (S)CSS.
Familiar with mobile build tooling publishing workflows for the App Store / Play Store and OTA delivery (e.g. CodePush Expo updates etc.).
Skilled in back-end integration using REST APIs AWS Firebase and Google Cloud Console.
Comfortable navigating complex tech stacks with an end-to-end product mindset and solid understanding of Git CI/CD and agile delivery practices.
