Job Summary

On behalf of our esteemed client a leading player in the construction industry we are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Intermediate/ Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Cape Town.

Requirements:

BTech in Quantity Surveying (NQF Level 7) or an equivalent qualification.
JBCC/NEC formal courses
CCS courses & certificates
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the construction industry.
Proficient in CCS (Candy Construction Computer Software) must have at least 5 years of hands-on experience working with CCS.
Drawing up BOQ for tenders and measurements from plans
Conducting Monthly progress valuations
Knowledge of how to prepare and submit an RFI List
Knowledge of various construction contracts used in SA. (JBCC NEC)
Monthly forecast schedule for live projects
Willingness and ability to travel to various project locations as required.
Valid Drivers License and reliable own transport.
Strong analytical and cost management abilities with a focus on accuracy and detail.
Excellent planning organisational communication and interpersonal skills.
