What youll be doing (and why youll enjoy it)
Youll be the right hand to the Asset Management team (wind solar BESS plants) providing support that keeps operations running smoothly. From managing meetings compliance reports and ISO systems to streamlining workflows and supporting O&M activities youll play a pivotal role in driving performance. Youll collaborate with internal teams across environmental legal and technical functions helping ensure site performance regulatory compliance and continuous improvement. If you enjoy juggling multiple responsibilities and being central to how a department functions this role will keep you challenged and fulfilled.
Where youll be doing it
Youll join a global leader in renewable energy with a strong and growing footprint across Sub-Saharan Africa. Established over a decade ago this organisation has developed and operates several utility-scale wind farms with more than 1 GW of projects in the pipeline and over 3 GW in development. The culture is collaborative mission-driven and focused on long-term sustainability both in energy generation and in team growth.
What youll need
Youll bring at least 3 years of experience in coordination or operations ideally in renewable energy or a technical sector. A National Diploma or Higher Qualification in Engineering Business or Environmental Science is required while a degree or certifications in ISO standards or project management will be advantageous. Strong MS Office skills are a must and experience with ERP systems will set you apart.
