Job Description
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience: 5 years of professional experience in application support or a similar role handling complex incidents and providing production support.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Strong understanding of enterprise applications and their architecture.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Bash Python PowerShell).
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. New Relic) and ticketing systems (e.g. JIRA).
- Solid knowledge of operating systems (Windows Linux) and databases (MySQL MongoDB SQL Oracle).
- Certifications:
- ITIL Foundation certification (or higher) is required.
- Any relevant certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Azure) or database management would be advantageous.
