Job Description

Credit Vetting Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct credit checks and vetting on new loan applications according to company policy and regulatory guidelines.
  • Input and process applications using the internal loan management system.
  • Identify potential credit risks and escalate where necessary.
  • Collaborate with the risk sales and operations teams to ensure timely processing.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on the system.
  • Generate reports and assist with audit or compliance requests when required.
  • Provide feedback on system usability and participate in process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in credit vetting credit analysis or a related field.
  • Comfortable navigating and working with IT systems or platforms (loan systems preferred).
  • Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple applications simultaneously and work in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Qualification in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field (preferred but not essential).
