Job Description

  • Timely communication with clients (Emails phones face-to-face).
  • Ensure the smooth running of an event from conception to completion with the client.
  • Weekly meetings with relevant departments and tasks are to be uploaded to TEAMS.
  • Follow up on outstanding tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Open and clear communication with relevant departments to ensure service is delivered in accordance with clients expectations.
  • Quotations to clients (highlighting our offerings).
  • Invoicing clients for upcoming events.
  • Reconciling invoices and weekly checks/follow-up of the debtor s schedule.
  • Creating action lists for events and circulating to departments every week.
  • Ownership of the Club s social calendar.
  • Monitor crockery cutlery glassware tables chairs and linen stock levels to ensure sufficient availability for all events.
  • Management of vendors and suppliers.
  • Ensure the cost of running events is within budget.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations.
  • Ensure Health & Safety measures are observed at all events.
  • Be alert of cart parking and traffic control for events.



Requirements

  • Recognised degree or diploma in Events Management Marketing Communications or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in events management brand activation and experiential marketing.
  • Proven track record of successfully planning executing and managing large-scale events and activations.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating memorable brand experiences.
