Job Description
A leading manufacturing company is looking for a Stock Controller for a 6-month contract based in Mount Edgecombe.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing stock levels
- Inventory control
- Ensuring safe stacking & storage
- Ensuring smooth flow of transfers into production and out of warehouse
- Ensure all data is promptly entered into the stock system in order to maintain accurate information at all times
- Conduct weekly/monthly cycle counts
- Raw material issues are promptly done against job cards
- Finished goods are captured against job cards
- Manage works orders variance analysis
Minimum Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Post matric qualifications in warehouse & stock control
- Stock control & inventory control experience
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Salary:
- Market related.
